Growing up as an Asian-American, Dave always felt like a cultural misfit. He was also a pastor’s kid who struggled with bitterness toward the Church. Over time, God used several people in Dave’s life to help him see the truth of the gospel and that he was not a misfit but a bridgemaker.
Dave has served in pastoral roles in several churches across the country.
In 2021, he received his Master’s of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and began to plant Icon Church with his wife, Lynn.
