Joseph Lee is a husband, father, and minister who sensed God’s calling to ministry early in life. However, it wasn’t until after college that he fully committed his life to vocational ministry. He went on to study at Dallas Theological Seminary, drawn by a desire to provide biblically rooted teaching and discipleship for the church’s next generation.

Although Joseph grew up in Korean churches and continued serving in them after moving to the United States at sixteen, his ministry direction took a significant turn during his final year of seminary. Through an internship with Proskuneo Ministries, Joseph sensed a clear calling toward multicultural and multiethnic ministry. Since then, he has served for more than six years in youth and young adult ministry at Reunion Church, a vibrant, multiethnic congregation in downtown Dallas.

In 2025, Joseph sensed a new direction from the Lord and joined Icon Church as Family Minister. He now serves at Icon as Discipleship Pastor and an elder, helping lead the church’s discipleship efforts and shepherd its congregation. Joseph also enjoys connecting with pastors and ministry leaders from other churches, especially those from minority backgrounds, and has a growing passion for building relationships, encouraging leaders, and investing in the next generation of ministry leaders.

Joseph is currently pursuing a PhD in Intercultural Studies at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. Alongside his doctoral studies, he is raising financial support to continue serving in ministry at Icon Church and investing in God’s work through the local church.
