Missionaries

I'm originally from Brazil but have been living in Texas since 2017. At a young age, God pursued my heart and I accepted Christ at the age of 6. Since trusting in Jesus, I’ve felt a strong conviction to serve him, but as a teenager and young adult my heart became numb toward the Lord. After a period of struggling to find who I was, and who God called me to be, I felt a strong calling to full-time ministry. I said yes, left everything behind, and joined a Christian missions program in Texas. Praise God, throughout this time I had many selfless leaders and mentors encourage and invest in my spiritual life. This time was transformative in my walk with the Lord and taught me how to run toward God’s Word for help and hope in times of trouble. Throughout my story, God has used the wisdom, patience, and presence of brothers and sisters to mature and strengthen my relationship with him and I desire to do the same for others. By serving in college and worship ministries God has opened door after door to disciple, encourage, and invest in others. It’s been such a joy to see God transform hearts and refine his people to reflect Jesus in every area of their lives.

As a missionary, my life goal is found in Acts 15:41: "Every place they went, Paul and Silas left the church stronger and more encouraged than before."
